!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! just posed a Jezza's Greatest Hits, and they were both very entertaining. One of the songs used Jessica rather nicely throughout, and I thought it to be pretty well done. The cleverness of the use of Jessica got me thinking how much I like the song as a whole.

It's catchy, it has a great hook, and it really fits in with the show. I think though, the main reason I like it so much, is due to my own positive association with it.
The first "Babum ba bumm ba bum ba bum ba bum ba bummm" tells me that I'm in for an hour of car shenanigans (or hoonanigains if you will) and that even if it's not going to be a particularly good episode, it's going to be more enjoyable than anything else I had planed. It's like the car guys call to mosque.

Better still though, is the level of recognizability Jessica has. Nearly anyone that even remotely identifies themselves as a "Car Person" will recognize Jessica within the first few seconds. As far as brand identity goes, Jessica is as ubiquitous to Top Gear as the herp is to the bar scene. Ever-present, and fully recognizable.
So I ask you, what other shows have equally (or even more) recognizable theme music?
